Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a DMP Artist. The DMP Artist will be responsible for creating and integrating photorealistic digital matte paintings into live-action plates. The DMP Artist will also be responsible for solving complex visual effects challenges, collaborating with the VFX Supervisor, and executing the director’s creative vision.
Qualifications
- Expertise in digital matte painting (DMP) techniques and tools
- Strong understanding of color, light, and perspective
- Proficiency in NUKE, Photoshop, and Maya
- Experience in compositing and CG integration
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Visual Effects, or related field
- Experience in the film or television industry is a plus
